Photoshoots should be fun, magical days where everything goes just right - and to an extent they are! But, we all know that in reality puppy training will suddenly be forgotten every time we try to pose for a photo, or your lightly coloured jeans will eventually display a mark that resembles a muddy paw print. But that's what makes the day even more special because we will have captured every aspect of your pet's personality. Photoshop is here to help remove peaky leaves that get caught in coats or stubborn muddy marks in the winter and we'll definitely have lots of fun exploring the local land.
Understandably, you'll still have lots of questions to ask to help you plan for your day, but I can assure you that no matter what happens the session will definitely be relaxed and you'll always come away with a selection of photos to treasure forever.

I don’t know where to go for my photoshoot. Any suggestions?
I’d recommend choosing a lovely walk with a route to suit the time you have available. Somewhere with woodland, trails and/or lakes for swimming in are always a bonus and make for some interesting backdrops. If you own a slightly more nervous dog, there is a fantastic private dog park in Melksham called Vinny's Getaway. For just £10 you can enjoy sole use of their enclosed field for an hour, which includes a splash zone and some agility fences.
What happens if the weather looks bad for my photoshoot?
I appreciate that British weather can go from one extreme to another pretty fast and therefore I won’t force you to go ahead with the shoot if the heavens are going to open all day. I’ll always send you a message a few days before the photoshoot to check that everything is still ok and I’ll check the weather. If the weather looks miserable, this is the time to decide whether you wish to reschedule the shoot. There is no charge for rescheduling the photoshoot due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, but if you decide to cancel the photoshoot all together, and give me less than 72 hours' notice, then some charges will apply. Do I need to bring anything other than myself and my dog(s)?
Not unless you want to. But I definitely do recommend bringing a handful of treats to help distract them from the interesting smells. If you would like to be in some of the photos make sure you’re wearing your smart dog walking clothes. Fancy dress (for dogs and owners) is always welcome and colourful collars. A doggy cake smash is always a great addition to any photoshoot too!
Can I create my own photoshoot package?
I offer three different photoshoot packages that all provide you with the freedom to pick and choose what photo products you'd like to purchase after your session. This way you're in control and can have as many photos as you wish from the photoshoot. Each package comes with either digitals or prints included so that your session covers the cost of some products, but the freedom to buy more photos is still there and there's no time limit to place orders.
However, if you are looking to buy a photoshoot as a gift, I appreciate that you may like to include some additional products with the voucher. This is no problem at all, simply let me know which products you'd like to add and I will get back to you with a bespoke quote.
How do I pay you for the photoshoot?
For my photoshoots, you will be required to pay a £50 deposit when booking to secure your chosen date, with the remainder to be paid at least 24 hours before or, if you choose my payment plan option, your first instalment will be taken on the day (fees apply). I can accept bank transfer payments or payments via a secure link (fees apply) and I will provide you with an invoice when booking. Please note that if for some reason full payment is not received before your chosen date or the payment plan is not set up correctly, no previews will be available or editing will be conducted on your photos until payment has been received.
